Clearwater were commissioned by ROMO Fabrics to be their design compliance managers for the building services being installed within their new headquarters building.
The project creates a new, central headquarters for ROMO which will consolidate their business, which is currently spread across four different sites. The new facility has a total area of 33,000m2 and is made up of offices, design studios, manufacturing areas and storage spaces housing 285 staff.
Primarily, our role on this prominent and significant project, was to check through and validate the design of the mechanical, electrical and public health services being produced by ROMO’s building service designer as well as the installation and coordination drawings being assembled by the mechanical and electrical contractor. Also, further to our appointment, Clearwater will also commence a site based role towards the end of the project to witness and verify that the installed building services meet the requirements of the client brief.
